In 2008 Indie had been diagnosed with a rare brain tumor. She was told that she had as little as six months to live. She went to the doctor and discussed her lifestyle from what she ate to what she put on her skin. The later question created the aha moment, she did not know what she was putting on her skin but had found a purpose. If she survived the surgery and recovered she made it her mission to create change and empower other to live their healthiest life. That was when the idea of Indie Lee came to existence.
