the best example we have of what a godly parent looks like, is God himself. God is our father, and deals with us as children. as we consider the what it means to be a godly parent, we examine what it truly means to bring up children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. in this message we work through eight points to achieving this goal. 1. being the example. 2. calling them near. 3. clear consistent teaching of Christ. 4.encouragement. 5. clear consistent teaching on sin. 6. discipline in love 7.imitating the attributes of God towards our children. 8. the dangers of being overbearing.
