This week we'll be talking with Kerry Lindsey, founder and creator of Highland Lake Cove Retreat and Learning Center in Flat Rock, NC, where residents and visitors are  sustained by the natural beauty of the land, the garden-centered cuisine and the stewardship of a teaching/learning community dedicated to the awakening and full blossoming of the human spirit.

The "Cove", as it's sometimes called, also consists of a small working farm and gardens, walking trails, a yoga studio, a 30-acre lake with canoes, private meeting facilities, a water front event center, and accomodations ranging from private retreat style rooms and camp cabins to well-appointed 2 and 3 BR cottages, as well as an award-winning restaurant.
We'll be talking to Kerry about the community, what's happening there, his vision for developing conscious and integral community in this stunning retreat center just outside Asheville, NC., and asking, "Why is community so hard?"
