Bursting the Bubble - Flying during the Pandemic
Description
pandemic was the strangest time in aviation history. Planes sat idle, airports fell silent, and crew were told to follow ever-changing rules that often didn’t make much sense. But even in the middle of it all, some flights kept operating — and the people onboard kept living, laughing, and sometimes breaking the rules.
In this episode of The Red Eye, we follow Ruby and her fellow crew on a surreal trip from London to Hyderabad. Hazmat suits, social bubbles, hotel lockdowns, and… an unexpected poolside encounter with a group of handsome strangers. What started as another restricted layover quickly turned into the kind of night no one would forget — and one that would land the crew in very real trouble when they got home.
A raw, funny, and honest glimpse into what it meant to fly through the height of the pandemic.
