The lowest period of any business's life is when it is unable to honour its financial obligations, Prior to the Companies Act 2008, this would've lead to immediate liquidation and winding up of the business. However this legislation brought with it a practice of Business Rescue. Mrs. Faith Ngwenya outlines the difference between the two and when each come into effect.
