Chief Daniel Hahn was born and raised in Oak Park, Sacramento. He was hired by the Sacramento Police Department in 1987 and after around three decades of service, Chief Hahn became the SPD’s chief of police in 2017. He is the first African American to hold this office in Sacramento. Chief Hahn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento and a Master Of Public Administration from National University. He is the proud father of two daughters and dedicated husband to his wife, Katrina. He has been praised for his proactive and sensible approach to different situations and was recently interviewed by the teens at Impact Sac. As an endorser/sponsor of the podcast, he is patently one of youth’s strongest supporters.
