In episode 13 we explore the value of foresight. Today's quotation is, "The best way to keep something bad from happening is to see it ahead of time… and you can't see it if you refuse to face the possibility." This was written by William S. Burroughs. The character discussed is Running Fox, from the TV show Into the West. Running Fox displays foresight when he wants to trade for rifles, and also when he makes the trade for a wagon. His foresight site is not necessarily agreed with among other members of the tribe especially his brother.
