Description

The COP30 climate summit has wrapped up in Brazil with no pledges to cut fossil fuels.

After long negotiations in Belem, the final deal makes no direct reference to weaning off coal, gas or oil.

There is, however, a pledge to boost finance for poorer nations coping with global warming.

  • Guest: Thom Woodroofe, Senior International Fellow with the Smart Energy Council and former climate diplomat
  • Producer: Pip Cook
