Inalfa Roof Systems is one of the world’s biggest providers of vehicle roof systems for the automotive industry, designing for companies such as BMW, Ford, General Motors, Audi, Rolls Royce and many, many others besides. Being across supply, design and of course production and manufacturing brings with it many challenges in the procurement function.
To find out more about them, and how they manage them, I am joined by Daniele Giannetti, Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) at Inalfa Roof Systems Group. In part one we take a look at the South East Europe region, the benefits and problems with clustering for a mid-sized company, and the financial crisis. In part two we will be taking a deeper look at the developing influence of the procurement function across the business, green and eco innovation and what strategies you should be employing in order to gain buy-in from top-level management.
