In this episode we are graced by Nik, ππ’ πππ¬π’π¨π’π«π¨πΆπ¨π’π― who is a practitioner of Silesian German folk magic, who shares their journey from being influenced by their grandparents' stories and village folklore to becoming a part of the online witchcraft community. They discuss their experiences of growing up queer in a conservative rural environment and their academic pursuits in cultural and social anthropology and Central European archaeology.
Nik emphasizes the importance of place in their practice and identity, and shares their favorite books, many of which are related to their path. They also discuss the profound impact of historical events on people and their connection to the land, and the discrimination faced by people who were displaced due to these events.
