Description
Keither Bhonapha, a Bay Area native and Skyline High School graduate, has been hired as Cal footballs new running backs coach. He brings experience from Michigan State and hopes to improve the teams struggling rushing attack. The move adds another local connection to the Bears staff, with Lupoi, Hutchings, and Rolovich all hailing from the Bay Area. Rolovich will serve as interim head coach in the Hawaii Bowl against Hawaii, where Bhonapha played defensive back from 1999 to 2002.
