However, Palestinians themselves feel excluded from this narrative, with many expressing dissatisfaction with their leadership and scepticism about the likelihood of elections. For Palestinians, the primary concern remains national liberation, sparking questions about whether these reforms align with that goal or merely reinforce a status quo shaped by external powers. Balancing the pressures of international conditions with urgent humanitarian needs will be a significant challenge for the Palestinian Authority in the months ahead.
