Description

Is your body screaming for help? Would you know if you’re ignoring life-threatening symptoms? Well, my guest today, Marisa Peters, is a passionate advocate for cancer awareness. She shares how the hustle and bustle of life can mask serious health signs, and why it’s critical to listen to our bodies.

Marisa moved from a high-powered career as a Chief People Officer in the tech and entertainment industries to a late-stage rectal cancer diagnosis at 39. Marisa is now on a mission to raise awareness about colorectal cancer and empower others to take their health seriously. She’s using her experience to educate and inspire, starting conversations that have been long overdue.

If you’re brushing off symptoms, thinking they’re just part of life, this episode will inspire you to advocate for yourself and take action. You’ll learn how to recognize the symptoms of colorectal cancer, why early screening is vital, and how one simple conversation can save lives.

"Be seen, get screened, use your voice, and be your biggest advocate 'cause you know your body best.. " ~ Marisa Peters
