Ashely currently serves as the director of the Business Services Division for the SC Department of Commerce, which focuses its efforts on small business development, existing industry support, supplier outreach, recycling market development and emergency response/recovery. With the belief that every business, large or small, deserves every benefit it can get, Ashely has dedicated her time to working with statewide partners and allies to develop services that local businesses and global enterprises can leverage to be successful. Ashely is an active member of the SC Small Business Advisory Council and serves on the board for the SC Small Business Development Centers, Junior Achievement of Greater SC and Business Development Corporation of SC. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Charleston Southern University and a master’s degree in business administration from Southern Wesleyan University.
