Carl has researched the topic, talked with many influential people and is convinced the idea of an autonomous bus has particular relevance to Shepparton in that is would allow disabled people freedom of movement, as it would the elderly and anyone unable, for whatever reason, to use a conventional motor vehicle.
He predicts such a bus, or buses, would bring a boost to trade in the city as it would allow people unable to move about the city could access retail outlets.
