The found phone did, indeed, belong to Tom. Due to its good condition it was probably planted by an involved party. Honestly, it sounds like the sheriff was involved. https://www.investigationdiscovery.com/crimefeed/mystery/new-cold-case-unit-investigates-case-of-teenager-found-dead-after-he-vanished
This is much longer than necessary, especially for a cold case.
Either a cop did it or a cop’s kid
Please do an update now he’s been found
the narroator is boring.
if I wanted to listen to cold cases, I would've picked an unsolved murder podcast. this episode is anticlimactic.
Remains found in Texas have been confirmed to be Tom Brown's, They have found him, so sad
cops involved
Anybody else suspicious of the sherriff? Do they have Tom's phone and that's why the were asking around for the code? Didnt send divers into the lake?
Best podcast I have come across. Very thorough but never boring with the facts. This goes for the overall podcast not just this episode. Good Job.
why this case? it's not a cold case. it's not a closed case. it's an ongoing, active investigation. seems beyond the purview of this show.
Does anyone else feel that the parents may have been and are being taken advantage of by the private investigator? This case sounds like many suicides...of course anything is possible, but foul play doesnt seem likely here.
I know this would be a long shot and they don't show the images, but has the FBI considered sending the images to NASA to be enhanced? Might be worth a try?
So SLOW... get on with it!
every week i look forward to the notification of new casefile episodes 😍
