Catriona MacLean - Breastfeeding mermaid #7
Description
My guest today is infant feeding coordinator Catriona MacLean from Inverclyde, Scotland. She is the brains and brawn behind the 40 feet tall mural of a breastfeeding mermaid, that helps normalize breastfeeding in Inverclyde. We talk about how they decided on the mural, why they chose a mermaid, and what are the positive effects across the community.
The mural was painted by artist Sam Bates aka SMUG. You can check out his artworks at: https://www.instagram.com/smugone/?hl=en
