  Then we dove right into our feature interview with renowned soap enthusiast and longtime fan favorite, Richard Simms. Richard joined hosts Anthony, David, Candice, Ashley, and Sue Ellen for a lively and candid conversation about the genre we all adore. Together, we explored the highs and lows of current storylines, reminisced about past favorites, and even debated the best and wildest villains ever to stir up drama across daytime. Richard was effusive in his love for the soap world, and for his soap bestie, our very own Candice, sharing how the passion of fans keeps the genre alive and thriving.

  We also took a deep dive into what’s hot and what’s not across daytime television. In Port Charles, General Hospital continues to deliver sibling drama, shock twists, and power plays that have us all talking. As Ashley teased, “Just when you think the storm has passed in Port Charles, another secret explodes.” Over in Genoa City, The Young and the Restless is serving both triumphs and trials. David noted, “There’s so much potential right now if the writers lean into the emotional core instead of recycling old feuds.” On The Bold and the Beautiful, sparks are flying as loyalties shift and betrayals heat up. Sue Ellen put it best, “Every week feels like a runway show with emotional fireworks, and I’m loving it.” And of course, Beyond the Gates is serving pure fun and fearless storytelling. Candice laughed, “You never know what’s coming next, and that’s what makes it so addictive.”
