From computer science and economics at the University of Texas to the CEO of the Center for Child Protection, Michael Torres, BA ’88, Life Member, has been serving children in Central Texas for almost 31 years.

This week on Hello Longhorn, learn all about Michael and the center's vision to end the cycle of child abuse through advocacy, education, and community support.

The Center for Child Protection, a nationally accredited children’s advocacy center, is the first stop for children in Travis County who are suspected victims of sexual abuse or physical abuse, and for children who have witnessed a violent crime.
