Description

In 2019, the ABC TV show Old People's Home for 4 Year Olds captured the imagination of the country.

It was a unique social experiment that brought elderly people in a retirement community together with a group of four year olds.

But even before that documentary aired, two sisters in Victoria were already working on creating their own intergenerational centre; a place where elders and young children could learn, laugh and play together under the one roof.

In 2023, after years of hard work, the doors to their facility, housing both a childcare and residential aged care centre,  finally opened, changing the lives of everyone involved.

Guest: Anna Glumac, co-founder and director of the Herd Intergenerational Learning Centre
