Description

In the third chapter of the Gita, Krishna explains how both action and inaction lead to karma. He also describes how nature’s cycle depends on everyone giving back a part of the blessings they receive. Krishna stresses that each person in a social group needs to perform their respective duties for society to function. He further explains that one's actions are governed by their gunas (inner natures) and implores everyone to be true to their dharmas determined by their life circumstances and personal attributes. He then warns that emotions and desires can cloud wisdom and judgment.
