Chapter XXXIX connects two people whose lives were about humility, grace and inspiring others.
Derrick turned 28 earlier this month. He talks about getting older plus what he did for his birthday. He also shares his high hopes for the San Jose Sharks. We spend most of this show honoring the life of family friend Delia "DeeDee," Corona Biever who passed away on November 2nd.
We also talk about the life and impact that Laney College Athletic Director John Beam had on the Oakland community after he was shot and killed on November 13th.
