Hour 1 – Ed  talks with Abby Phillip, Host of CNN’s NewsNight, about her new book: “A Dream Deferred: Jesse Jackson and the Fight for Black Political Power.” It’s an examination of Jackson’s campaigns for the Presidency in both 1984 and 1988 and how they continue to influence our contemporary political conversations. Also, actor John Slattery, best known for his role as Roger Sterling in “Mad Men”, talks about his latest role in the new film “Nuremberg.” Plus, Ed talks with author Heather Colley about her new novel: “The Gilded Butterfly Effect.” And Ed and Caryn compare what they have for breakfast each day and ask: is breakfast truly the most important meal of the day?


Hour 2 – Ed talks with author David Fleming about his new book: “A Big Mess in Texas: The Miraculous, Disastrous 1952 Dallas Texans and the Craziest Untold Story in NFL History”; and author Alyson Richman about her new book: “The Missing Pages”.
