A lot of people in their processes play a game very similar to checkers. They care about the now too much, they care about the numbers too much, the instant wins. This is what checkers is all about. Chess is very different and more like the reality of your process. All that matters in Chess is winning the game, regardless of numbers, or what things appear to look like, etc. If you win, you win.
