Chicago Fire FC bolsters their roster with the signing of Finnish international midfielder Robin Lod, a proven goal scorer and playmaker. Lod, 32, joins the Fire on a free transfer after seven successful seasons with Minnesota United, where he was the clubs all-time leading goal scorer. He brings valuable experience, having helped Minnesota reach the 2019 US Open Cup Final and earned a spot in the 2024 MLS All-Star game. Lods international career includes six goals and twelve assists in 83 caps for Finland. His addition, along with other recent signings, aims to strengthen the Fires lineup and improve their performance in the MLS Cup Playoffs.
