I met Chris at a café in Vancouver.
There's nothing much to stay about this café, except that it hosts a group bringing together native Chinese speakers and Chinese learners, every week.
I quickly realized that Chris and I had something in common—aside from being two white guys who enjoy immersing ourselves in Mandarin.
We also share a passion for movies.
I’m really glad to have Chris on the podcast for the final episode of the year.
In our conversation, we dive into topics like the "monastic" way of learning Chinese, Trump’s popularity in China, retirement home for young people exhausted from the « 996 », and of course, his favorite films.
