In this episode Dr Peter Blundell (Twitter: @drpeterblundell) interviews UK counsellor and psychotherapist Ciaran Hurley 9Twitter: @_CHCPC) who is based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Ciaran works with adults, children and young people in a range of settings. He also has a background in nursing and has been a lecturer in nursing at both of the universities in Sheffield.

Ciaran says "When I meet you as a new client, I think it’s important that we spend some time exploring the things that might be causing you difficulty at the moment. After that we’ll work together to identify the changes you’d like to make in your life. We’ll move on to make a plan of what to do next and I have a range of skills and techniques that I can use to help you".
