Class #179 Take 1 - Disney and ESPN Alternate Broadcasts of Live Sports Entertainment
Description
In this Take 1 episode, I discuss the use of alternate broadcasts by Disney and ESPN to market live sports entertainment to a younger audience. Using technology made popular by Disney/Pixar movies, the company has produced alternate broadcasts of NHL and NFL games, and will air an NBA alternate broadcast featuring Mickey, Minnie and friends from the Magic Kingdom on Christmas Day. Video of this episode is available at https://youtu.be/pVwbSTtv3P8?si=j8t65O_wivkh_b3c. I hope you enjoy!
