 This Issue marks the 30^th anniversary since the passing of the original apostle to the ‘Philadelphian era’ of the Church, Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong 1892—1986  

“In the Willamette Valley, they waited. It was nearly time, for the baton to change again into the hands of those God would call to do His end-time work. As mankind reached the end of six thousand years of Satan’s misrule of the earth, God’s Church had to be ready for a new and critical phase of God’s end-time work! Jesus had prophesied that before the end could come, the true gospel of the Kingdom must be preached to all the world as a witness.

As mans knowledge increased, the technology began to be developed by which a ‘Voice’ could indeed ‘Cry Out’ and be heard around the world. And so as God raised up Elijah and John the Baptist as [His] special messengers, He now raised up a man to work in the ‘spirit and power of Elijah’, preparing-the-way for Christ’s second coming. His mission was to restore the true gospel which had been suppressed for nineteen hundred years and to restore the government of God in the Church and prepare Christ’s bride for His coming.

Herbert W. Armstrong was born July 31^st 1892 in Des Moines Iowa of substantial God fearing parents. He was the eldest son of Horace Elon Armstrong, who was the eldest son of Nathan Armstrong, who was the eldest son of Samuel Armstrong who was married to Elizabeth Culp. The family genealogy has been preserved through the Culp Foundation and can be traced back to Princess Joan the daughter of Edward the First, the King of England between 1272 and 1307. And thus, through a royal line can be traced back to King David of ancient Israel. As a young man of age eighteen, Herbert Armstrong became unusually successful in the field of magazine and newspaper advertising. At age twenty five he was married to Loma Dillon an Iowa school teacher”.

  End-time Proverbs

* If you KNOW the truth and fail to speak it or support it—you will suffer along with many others. Remember, compromise is a tool of the Devil!

* Truth separates people—those who love it embrace it—those who hate it reject it!

 * “The truth shall make you free”. If you throw it away, you will again become    incarcerated in a world held captive.

 * Combining false religion with politico-nationalism is a dangerous and toxic mixture.   (e.g. embracing socialism / Marxism  or Islamo-fascism and expecting utopia)

Fact or Opinion?

Behold, I will send you ‘Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: And He shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse [utter destruction] (Mal. 4: 5-6). We have been living in that time! When except those days should be shortened there should no flesh be saved alive (Matt. 24: 22).  

Reflections….

Since the days of the original apostles nothing remotely comes close to the massive ‘restoration of the truth’ that has taken place during this end-time era of God’s one-true- church. Indeed, exactly as Christ said and right on time: “Elijah truly shall come and restore all things” (Matt. 17: 11). Nothing since the time of Christ and the original apostles compares to the massive ‘restoration of truth’ that has gone on beginning in January of 1934 and even to our time. For the book was sealed and shut up until the time of the end: many shall run to and fro and knowledge shall be increased (Dan. 12: 4). Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong assisted by men such as; Herman L. Hoeh, Raymond F. McNair, Roderick C. Meredith and many others including his sons, accomplished so much in establishing the most dynamic ministry in our time—indeed there has been nothing quite like it!

And this gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come (Matt. 24: 14). In so doing, God’s one true end-time Church has been fulfilling the Great Commission which is dual, of ‘preach the gospel’ and ‘feed the flock’. In so doing, this has been facilitating the ongoing fulfilment of the Elijah commission, that of: ‘preparing the way before Me’ (Mal. 3: 1). The ‘voice of one crying in the spiritual wilderness of religious confusion’ (Isaiah 40: 3).  ‘Making ready a people’ (Luke 1: 17) the Church, for the imminent return of the great, majestic and glorified Christ!

We have not finished yet, for the end has not yet come—we must continue the exceedingly short race, in assisting Christ, so that He can now ‘finish the work and cut it short in righteousness’ (Rom. 9: 28).

With the ever quickening pace of  catastrophic massive out of control world events lining up and on a daily basis, we are so obviously running out of time  as this age is coming to a very soon climactic end.

From the so-called transformative socialist revolutionary (big government controlled) societies taking hold in the west, and strangling the foundational bedrock values (the Judeo-Christian ethic) from our national psyche and consciousness. To the resultant accelerated pace of the anti-God and fascist—Islamification  of our western world as being embraced, and enforced by an elite, ‘progressive’ and now mainstream entrenched socialist political academic majority (which is so morally ‘bankrupt’) we are so obviously running out of time
