Continuing our mini-series on 'clinicians at camp' in honor of May's #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth, we sat down with Tom Perlet (LICSW), Assistant Director of the Children's Program with Riverbend Community Mental Health, based in Concord, NH.
Tom talks about looks like to equip camp staff with mental/behavioral health tools and self-care techniques helpful for promoting resilience needed to thrive through a summer season.
Tom and Kyle also reflect on how these tools help camps with their personal lives beyond camp and what to expect if your camp would like to seek professional, clinical support for your programs.
