Description

(00:00-25:59 ) – Query & Company opens on a Monday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison declaring Indiana the sports capital of the world with how successful of its teams are right now. They touch on the Colts improving to 6-1, the Hoosiers remaining undefeated, and send their thoughts to Indiana State’s men’s basketball coach Matthew Graves.

(25:59-41:23 ) – The voice of IU football (and basketball), Don Fischer, makes his weekly visit on Query & Company to recap another dominating win for Indiana. Don compares what he has seen from IU this season to what Ohio State, Michigan, and Alabama have done in the last ten years to their opponents. Don comments on the energy and confidence that Fernando Mendoza brings to the Hoosiers offense compared to Kurtis Rourke from a season ago.

(41:23-45:42 ) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake reading some of the tweets he got from Colts fans yesterday following the win over the Chargers!

(45:42-1:10:53 ) – The Dean, Mike Chappell, from CBS4 and FOX59 joins the show to share his thoughts on the Indianapolis Colts improving to 6-1 after yesterday’s win over the Chargers. He believes that the team needs to make a trade for a corner before pass rusher, doesn’t have a preference to acquiring a player that is a rental or has multiple years left on his contract, and highlights the one thing he has a hard time believing if the Colts make it in the playoffs.

(1:10 :53-1:24:58 ) – The South Bend Tribune’s Tom Noie joins the program to discuss what he has seen from afar from IU compared to last season when Notre Dame ended the Hoosiers season. Tom evaluates how CJ Carr has performed this season, believes that Alabama is flying underneath the radar as a CFP contender, has a feeling that Notre Dame will be hosting another first round CFP game like last season, and accesses the future of Marcus Freeman at Notre Dame.

(1:24 :58-1:29:44 ) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake asking Eddie how his vacation down in Florida went last week. Plus, they take roll call.

(1:29 :44-1:55:11 ) – The final hour of the show kicks off with Eddie replaying the highlights and comments from yesterday’s offensive clinic by the Indianapolis Colts in their win over the Chargers. Jake follows it up by listing, and explaining, the three big takeaways from the weekend in the best sports state in the country. He states that this Colts team is starting to embody what the state of Indiana is.

(1:55 :11-2:07:44 ) – Jake and Eddie read off some of the replies that Jake got on his tweet asking people for their thoughts on the Colts through seven weeks of the season. Plus, Eddie asks Jake some questions about the Colts.

(2:07 :44-2:12:44 ) – Today’s show closes out with Jake being joined by JMV in studio to discuss what move the Colts need to make, how many seasons would it take for IU to transform from a basketball to football school, and previews his show!
