Marianna and Dru start the discussion about the Book of Helaman and talk about the similarities between this time for the Nephites and our time today. The first coming of the Savior is coming soon, just as His second coming is coming soon, now. How are we preparing? Do we remember the Savior’s words? The pride cycle is obvious through these chapters. The number one way to fight against pride is to work on the Christlike attribute of humility, which is not a weakness but a strength. Even when the world is going through difficult times, we can find peace by following the Lord and His Prophets. We should have hope for happy days ahead. Our spiritual foundation needs to be based on Jesus Christ. If we need to repent, we have the opportunity to change. Christ’s invitation is to all of us to come unto Him.
