What do you say to a grieving friend? Be gentle with them. Each person grieves in their own way. That is okay. We listen when they speak. We offer our condolences. We share food with them. We share our memories. We cry and we laugh. We hold their hands. We offer our shoulder to cry on, and offer a hug. We comfort each other. We allow them to talk and we listen.
