Less than two months out from Australia's social media ban for children under the age of 16, questions remain on how it will be implemented - and how much safer it will make the online environment.
A Senate committee examining the ban has been hearing from tech giants including Google and Microsoft - but representatives from Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok were absent.
