Mark Dever, Senior Pastor of Capitol Hill Baptist Church, concludes the 6th annual Contemporary Issues Lecture Series with a message titled "Membership". Mark Dever explains that Christians are called to be a part of a community, the church, and addresses what it means to be a part of this community. He explains the importance of membership in the local church in light of God's character and Jesus' commission. Mark Dever challenges the Biola community to think of Church membership in terms of commitment, witness, assurance, nature, obedience and the glory of Christ's holy love.
