Coronavirus Mutations and Returning To Normal

Description
One of the lesser reported aspects of the novel coronavirus is that it has already been mutating as it spreads around the globe. The NextStrain website has a detailed graphic providing an overview of this as the virus has travelled to different countries, while some researchers has reported that the virus mutated to a second strain some time in January which may potentially undermine immunity in those who gained the infection by the original strain. Steve and Ben examine the path of the virus based on this reporting, as well as coverage of the Australian Government’s recent announcement of a three step plan to return to normal life with a gradual reopening of the economy.
