Premier des trois albums solo (pour le moment) d’Iommi, mais pas le premier à sortir, The 1996 DEP Sessions a une gestation particulière, un bootleg qui a contrarié sa sortie mais aussi il a été l’occasion d’une rencontre décisive pour la suite de la carrière d’Iommi et Black Sabbath !
