The Columbus Crew has signed homegrown defender Owen Presthus, a US youth international, to a first-team contract. Presthus, who has four goals and nine assists in fifty-six appearances for Crew two, follows in his fathers footsteps as a Crew player. This signing comes alongside deals for academy forwards Chase Adams and defender Quinton Elliot. General manager Issa Tall praised the young players commitment and character, and the Crew will kick off their first season under new head coach Henrik Rydstrom at the Portland Timbers on February twenty-first.
