Description:

In this episode we cruise down memory lane and discuss the resurgence of street cruising in the 1970s. While this past time began to emerge in the late 1940s, the popularity of cruising in cars hit a peak in the late 1970s. We talk about the film American Graffiti and its depiction of teen culture in Modesto, CA in 1962. We share some of the popular cruising spots around SoCal over the years. And to discuss what the cruising scene was like in Whittier on Whittier Blvd in the late 1970s, we welcome our first guest on the show, Steve Sharp of Alvin, Texas.
