Smooth Finish and Company discuss the use of Cyanuric Acid in the swimming pool industry. Also known as CYA, and yes “Cover your Ass” is somewhat relatable to this conversation. Although a useful/necessary tool in the treatment of water there are some side affects and adjustments to be considered with it’s use and how in particular it can create issues for Cementous Pool Plaster finishes.
