In this new series titled Dare to Pray, Pastor Joy shares the message and challenges us to "Dare to Pray like Jabez." Jabez is a man whose very name meant “he causes pain.” Though marked by sorrow from birth, Jabez refused to let his identity be shaped by his past. Instead, he lifted a daring prayer to God—asking for His blessing, His leading, and His covering. He prayed for God’s hand to be upon him, for divine direction through life’s uncertainties, and for protection from harm and temptation. Jabez’s prayer wasn’t passive; it was a cry from a heart that believed in the power of a mighty God. Each of us walks through different stages of our dreams—God gives the vision, we decide to pursue it, we face delays, difficulties, and even dead ends. But just like Jabez, when we dare to pray, we invite God to take over. And when He does, no dream is too broken to be fulfilled. Remember, the task ahead of you is never as great as the power behind you. It's time to rise in faith. Watch and pray. Dare to believe in the power of prayer.
