DC Shooting: Third Suspect Arrested in Year-Old Case
Update: 2025-09-20
Description
A year after a deadly shooting in Southeast D.C. that killed two and injured a toddler, police have arrested a third suspect, Dionzai Parker, and charged him with first-degree murder. Parker joins two other suspects already in custody for the July 2022 shooting that tragically took the lives of Lamont Street and Jermaine Proctor and shook the community after a 2-year-old girl was caught in the crossfire. With the investigation ongoing, detectives are offering a reward of up to $25,000 per homicide victim for tips leading to additional arrests and convictions.
