Biography:
German-based artist Christian Schmidt, aka Klordop.
Klordop is rooted in hypnotic minimal techno. His personal style is characterised by the rich atmospheric spectrum of electroacoustic sounds – unusual in electronic dance music – driven by irresistible grooves. Expect wondrous journeys for the mind and the body, riding on infectious beats through intense psychedelic soundscapes. The work of the Hamburg-based artist has taken proportions under various project names on his own label, Roo Rec. Today, his main projects are Klordop (dub minimal techno) and Segensklang (ambient).
