DUI Suspect Arrested in Fatal Manhattan Beach Crash
Update: 2025-12-27
Description
Jenia Resha Belt, accused of a fatal pedestrian crash in Manhattan Beach, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder, gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, and driving on a suspended license. Belts blood-alcohol level was twice the legal limit at the time of the crash, which resulted in the death of 17-year-old Braun Levi, a standout athlete and recent high school graduate. Belts license was already suspended from a previous hit-and-run case. Levis family is filing a civil lawsuit against Belt to push for DUI reforms, as Brauns mother serves on the Mothers Against Drunk Driving California board. Checkout Solipillow.com
