Daily Devotions: An Acceptable Offering - January 4, 2026
Description
Genesis 8:20 –22 ESV
“Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and, taking some of all the clean animals and clean birds, he sacrificed burnt offerings on it. And the Lord smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: ‘Never again will I curse the ground because of humans, even though every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood. Never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done.’”
In this episode of Daily Devotions, Pastor David Sumrall highlights the power of an acceptable offering. Noah’s obedience and proper offering pleased God, bringing blessing and establishing His covenant with all creation. One faithful offering can change the course of history and reveal God’s favor.
