- Commercial fisherman on the East Coast almost exclusively fish with a daisy chain like squid rig on green sticks to make a living, it is one of the deadliest tactics used for fishing and it has become one of my favorite rigs to troll for tuna, marlin, and mahi. It’s been around for forever, but has evolved into a fish catching machine whether you’re fishing on a 21’ center console or 60’ sport fisher Daisy chains are an attraction that pulls fish to the surface to check out your spread. There’s several different rigging options and ways to get more bites.
