Good book, my sister liked it

Quick Read
DARIUS & TWIG is a quick read and should be popular with reluctant readers. The chapters are short and the story moves quickly. The urban setting and sports theme will be appealing to many boys. The characters are authentic and relatable. The message of friends, family, and hope is powerful.
Get youth started reading the books of WALTER DEAN MYERS with this short read.

Likeable, but slow
Nice, compelling characters, but the dialog often felt forced. These boys just didn't always feel very real. Overall the novel was a little "thin".

Read this book!
I truly loved this book. It is good for anyone wanting an easy read with a message.
