Darius Slay, a thirty-four-year-old former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback, has been claimed off waivers by the Buffalo Bills. After mutually agreeing to part ways with the Steelers, Slay was placed on waivers and eventually lost his starting role due to a concussion and strong performances from backup James Pierre. Despite being paid over eight point seven million dollars in signing bonus this season, Slays release allows him to continue playing in the NFL with a new team.
