Dave Harrington's Skull Dream
Description
Dave Harrington (Darkside, Taper's Choice) joins me to talk about his latest solo album, "Skull Dream" out now on his new label, Maximum Overdub. We take the time to catch up on a few projects he's worked on since we last spoke, including Taper's Choice and, very recently, playing Garcia's Alligator guitar onstage. I cut off a couple slices of his music and then wrap things up with a nice slab of Good Old Grateful Dead.
You can find "Skull Dream" and future Maximum Overdub releases on Bandcamp at MaximumOverdub.Bandcamp.Com. It's a terrific ride. His earlier record, "The Pictures" is available at DHGroup.Bandcamp.Com. Be sure to check out both!
The Chris Forsyth records that we discussed can be found at Chris' bandcamp page. The live record, "First Flight" where it begins is here. The "Harrington Dub" is here.
The Taper's Choice LP, "The History of Taper's Choice Vol. 1 (Taper's Choice) can be found on the Taper's Choice bandcamp page.
That Organ Fairchild record I spoke of in the intro, "Songs We Didn't Write" is on their bandcamp page, of course. Do check it out.
You can also grab my latest album, "So Below" from my Bandcamp page: JMHart.bandcamp.com and it you would like a BrokedownPod t-shirt or sticker or other merch in that vein, please head over to my Redbubble virtual merch table. All proceeds go straight toward hosting costs and are much appreciated.
