Proverbs 19:23-24 KJV
[23] The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: And he that hath it shall abide satisfied; He shall not be visited with evil. [24] A slothful man hideth his hand in his bosom, And will not so much as bring it to his mouth .
The Book of Proverbs continually uses contrasting phrases to draw our attention to what is important for successful life and to avoid failure or pre mature death.
if we take these teachings to heart then our lives will be likexthe tree depicted in Psalm chapter 1. continued success, accomplishing the purposes for which we were born. To the glory of God.
